What are you going to do with all those bananas?

So you got a great deal on all those bananas but that was a few days ago and now they don't look as good as they did then. If they sit around much longer they'll end up being wasted because no one will want to eat them.

How about a banana bread!

But not just any banana bread. A special banana bread. A banana bread with banana palms and bananas.

From Nordic Ware, the top maker of bake ware, this Banana Bread Loaf Pan will give you a great new way to delight your family and guests with your banana bread and cakes. Or take it to the office. You know how those people like to eat.

Great results are almost guaranteed. It's made of cast aluminum to hold the heat for even baking and even browning and the non-stick surfaces make release a sure thing and the clean-up easy.

Don't worry if you don't have a good banana bread recipe. Nordic Ware does and they printed on the back of the label. It uses 3-4 ripe bananas. If you have more than that, you'll just have to make two banana breads.

About 12 inches by 6 inches by 3 inches deep. 6 cup (1.4 liter) capacity.

Proudly Made in the USA

It's Strawberry Season!

The luscious red fruit is ready for eating now.

Sure. You can get strawberries all year round if you're willing to let them defrost for hours before you eat them. If you do, you'll be rewarded with a semi-firm, fruit-like thing which tastes vaguely like a strawberry. Or you can take a chance on some "fresh" strawberries shipped-in from who knows where but strawberries don't ripen after they've been harvested so you've got a slim chance of getting really good berries if they're not local.

Not now. This is the season. Go on down to the market and buy 'em by the pint, the quart and the bushel if you dare. Eat 'em whole. Slice them and serve them with a bit of cream or on ice cream. And of course, there's that old favorite, strawberry shortcake. Serving strawberries with cake is a bit more complicated than strawberries alone but it's worth the effort. The cake makes them a special treat.

And to make them even more special, try serving them in individual cake baskets. Our Nordic Ware Shortcake Basket Cake Pan will be just the thing to help you do that.

This delightful pan makes six individual serving baskets from your favorite batter or use the recipe included and don't worry. The pan is heavy aluminum construction for even baking and even browning and has non-stick interior surfaces for easy removal (and clean-up.) Your strawberry baskets will be perfect and all you'll have to do is fill them with the those sweet delights of the season, top with whipped cream and enjoy.
